Introduction
Worldwide industrial activities have had a significant impact on the environment, including climate change. In this report, we review some of these impacts but – more appropriate to our expertise – focus on organisations’ development of, and investment in, innovation to tackle such problems, using patent data and industry insight as a barometer of activity.
